Your Building Control Authority is authorised under the Regulations to accept certificates, issued by Authorised SAP Assessors, as confirmation that the dwelling complies with Part L1A.
Your BCA will require a SAP Assessment at Building Control application stage, and an Energy Performance Certificate for each dwelling upon completion. Only Authorised SAP Assessors can issue certificates, which show the SAP rating and energy banding. Each certificate will carry the Government SAP logo | | |
